Honor · Discipline · Courage — woven into every class.
More Than Martial Arts
In a world of digital distractions and negative online influences, a strong moral compass matters more than ever. Our 7·5·3 program builds character alongside skill so students develop discipline, resilience and the quiet confidence to lead by example.
The Heart of the Academy
The 7·5·3 program reflects the warrior values our academy is named for. Bushido — the time-honored code that guided the samurai — is more than a name on the wall; it is the framework behind how we teach. Character here isn't a separate lesson. It is built into mastering technique, learning from the mentorship of our instructors, and earning trust through positive, respectful rolls with teammates.
Every drill, every belt and every partnership becomes a chance to practice doing the right thing, even when it's hard. That's how lasting character is forged — on the mats, one honest repetition at a time.
What Students Take Home
Skills learned on the mats carry into the classroom, the home and every relationship in a child's life.
Students learn to honor their coaches, their teammates and themselves — listening closely, following directions and treating others the way they want to be treated.
The structure of Jiu-Jitsu rewards patience and attention. Over time, students build the self-control to stay calm, stay present and keep working toward a goal.
On the mats, everyone gets challenged. Students learn that setbacks aren't failures — they're feedback — and that showing up again is where real strength comes from.
Inside the Program
Character development isn't a once-a-month assembly here — it's part of the rhythm of every class. Our instructors weave the values of Bushido into warm-ups, drills and live training so students absorb them naturally over time.
The Bigger Picture
Our goal reaches far beyond producing skilled grapplers. Through a structured, system-based curriculum, we develop not just capable practitioners but strong, capable leaders — young people who carry themselves with composure, treat others with respect, and take responsibility for their own growth.
Parents tell us they see it first at home: more focus on homework, calmer responses to frustration, and a steadier confidence that doesn't need to be loud. That's the quiet power of character built one class at a time.
